Reporting Spammers


Spammers advertise web sites by posting their URLs (web address) in the chat room, either in open chat or in whispers.

When chatters advertise in open chat and stay in the chat room, hosts should warn them for advertising and follow the warn, warn, kick procedure.

Drive-by Spammers

Spammers that come into the chat room, advertise and leave the room immediately, should be reported in whisper to Sysop_vsi in the host room. If she is on "away" (coffee cup), report via email to Vickie5-msn@sc.rr.com. Always include the chatter's nickname, room it happened in, and complete message from the room.

Whisper Spammers

If you get a complaint from a chatter about being spammed in whisper, have them copy and paste it to you in a WHISPER; you may kick the chatter IF you report it. If the whisper is directly to the host, the spammer should be kicked. In both cases, it should be reported in whisper to Sysop_vsi in the host room. If she is on "away" (coffee cup), report via email to Vickie5-msn@sc.rr.com.

the admin_koach joke redux

according to msn a chat "admin" was someone who was in charge of administering the entire chat line.

admin_koach sat in the msn chat help desk on away (in his cup) 24x7 and allowed organized crime gangs to park multitudes of pornographic advertisements (not so) cleverly disguised as chatters called pornobots in every room on msn chat. it was so bad that it seemed that everyone (regular chatters) knew who the porn and prostitute bots were but msn management.

msn closed its chat service according to a commentator here at 7:13 am pst today. yesterday admin_koach opened a room called "koach test" for everyone to come and say goodbye and chat about well chat.

whats so shocking is that these are the very people who are responsible for the destruction of chat yet what do these empty headed chatters do? instead of repudiating koach and sysop_vsi and the rest of these criminals, they go in koachs test room and kiss his ass profusely. lol. they are so sad that they actually want to be hosts on his new chat server. people that use msn products are the stupidest people in the world.

heres another host corner secret we recently received via email:

Hello!
Coming accross your website I thought I might share with you a recent tale from Hostcorner, it only occured recently (in about July - August) but here is what happened:

CHA's -Kassarah- & -Nan_ along with -kiwigirl7 (who was not yet a CHA at this time) and Grr_Said_The_Tiger were all plotting to get CHA BeguilingMyst fired. It seemed the 4, who were the Hostcorners modern clique by the way, did not like Beguiling and set to work to get her fired. A situation one night in Hostcorner occured where BeguilingMyst scolded a host for violating a rule (no worse than what Kass or Nan had done in the past) and the four quickly scooped the log up, edited it slightly to put Myst in a bad light and sent it to Vickie. Numerous complaints from Nan, Kass, Kiwi & Grr to Vickies inbox later and nothing was done about BeguilingMyst, it's apparent that Myst was VERY high up on Vickies pecking order.

It was alleged that Kass and Nan tried to have Myst fired because they wanted Kiwi or Grr to replace her as a CHA.

They didn't manage to succeed with Myst, so they set to work on Daintreedave, who was an easy target. It was these four who were behind Dains firing in which Kiwigirl replaced him as a CHA, so in the end the vicious little clique got 50% of their way.

Nan and Kassarah were extremely bitter, nasty, vicious women. Nan put on such a kind front in Hostcorner but she was pure venom behind your back.

Just something I thought I would share.

Insecure Koach.com Censors Chat!

so, today we finally broke down and visited the koach.com chat line. koach.com is the chat service formed by the clowns who were so terrible in managing msn's chatline that it was eventually closed down due to lack of use. (their shoddy management style ran off all msn's chatter/subscribers).

to say that koach.com is dead would be generous. we went in many rooms which had just a few chatters that werent chatting at all. finally we wound up in the koach's workshop chat room, which, despite saying that it contained seventy something chatters there was actually only two or three chatting and chatting intermittently at that. no host greeted us, in fact, a gaveled host was on "away."

as the following screen grabs show, we mentioned buzzen and phriek and immediately we were muzzled. koach.com seems to be so insecure that they muzzle then disconnect their users who make the mistake to merely mention another chat line.

former msn chatters might remember how then sysop_vsi and admin_koach deployed this technique against them shortly before msn chat closed. recall how koach.com was the only alternative chat line allowed to be promoted out in the general chat. mention of, for instance, buzzen immediately brought a ban.

however, buzzen to their credit does not seem to possess this childish insecurity, as we've documented in the past they have allowed koach.com personnel such as "global moderator/sysop" kiwigirl to come onto their chat service to promote koach.com with no adverse action taken against them.

as you can see, we actually made a typo and our text which should have been interpreted to mean, merely a comment by someone who was lamenting the loss of chatters across all chat lines and was actually complimenting koach.com.

so this morning we were chilling in the main lobby oh around 2:10 am est when in pops nazi host Angelsfall20 bringing on her usual brand of chatter abuse and exquisite way of making msn and the microsoft corporation look like the foolish company that we all know it is.

first thing Angelsfall20 does is goad a chatter named Pixie_WarriorWoman_ so she could have the pleasure of:

then of course she makes a big deal out of reporting her (of course we all know what good that will do with the asleep at the switch no make that incompetent Sysop_vsi aka "vickie") to the alledged chat manager:

if msnoutstartcomparticipatesystems was truly interested in being good corporate netizens then they would do what they say and "protect" - their word not ours, their chatter/subscribers from potentially wrecking their lives and the lives of others - besides the fact that they are spammers to begin with.

so the question remains, why, arent pornobots/pornspammers watched for and removed just as quickly as some silly spectated chatter who cant even participate in chat and at the least provides some entertainment value whilst at the same time pornographers are allowed to park at will and continuously pornobots on the chatline which msn has shown have the potential to destroy msn's own chatter/subscribers lives?

its also interesting to note that on tuesday morning (03 january 2006) msnbc-tv was running a story about cyber addiction until the west virginia mine tragedy story broke - the report ran 2 or 3 times that morning then disappeared and has never been mentioned again also it was not put on msnbc.com website.

last nite around 8:45 pm est we were chatting in the msn chatroom thelobby1 when someone brought in a spectated passport with the msn chatnickname: Syflop_Vicky69

we noticed how almost instantly this spectated chatter was removed not once but about three times by one of the room bots. we have to wonder how can it be that msn's management can see something like this and remove it instantly and on the other hand allow pornobots as well as abusive chatters to park in the rooms continuously and at will for many days on end? does it make sense to you because it sure doesnt to us.

we do have to add though that the chat managers name is "vickie" or Sysop_vsi but still just because that spectated chatter has a chatnickname similar to hers doesnt mean that it was necessarily taking a swipe at her. anyway something just doesnt add up.
