SLIEDRECHT, NOV 01: Buzzen Communication 16+ / Media Reaction.

Buzzen Communications has decided to change their age limit in General Chat Rooms to 16+. We can assure you that paedophiles will be reported to their Internet Service Providers and also directly to local Police Services to ensure Teenagers joining rooms are safe. The EN Market will have rooms hosted 24/7 and a new Service Bot has been put in place to tone down the content of the language as this was unacceptable.

Our new site will have specially created Teenage Passports. These Passports will be for our younger users, in this way Buzzen Communications is doing as much as possible to protect children that use our services. The Buzzen V2 website will be more teen friendly so they can use these rooms freely and safely. They will also be protected against viewing adult material, we will have a special team co-ordinate this to ensure all profiles and Spacedom’s are checked regularly and any unsuitable material (pornographic or explicit pictures, profanity, etc) will be removed.

Our romance rooms will remain 18+. This will remain inaccessible to anyone under the age of 18. Teens will not be able to view or join categories or visit materials that are not related to their age group. Teens who are under 16 will only be allowed to join the Teens category thus protecting them from any harm that can occur. Buzzen has researched this thoroughly to ensure their safety. 16+ users will be able to join General Rooms and Teen Rooms only.

In the past we have had teenagers lie about their age and as this is very hard to prove we have decided to make our services suitable for teens. There will be highly trained certified staff to monitor rooms and the teen rooms will have whispers disabled so that everything that is relayed will have to be in main chat. Again this is to ensure safety. These teams will regularly monitor for any untoward action (porn bots, paedophiles, drug dealers).

Buzzen believes this is the correct procedure and will be working closely with other services to maintain safety for the children that use our services. This has taken months of co-ordination and the staff are trained in what to do if any instance occurs.

We are working closely with Law Enforcement as well as being reviewed on a regular basis by ChildSafe services to make sure Buzzen is as safe for children as possible. They will also agreed to help with any difficulties that arise and also keep us informed of the latest updates so that we are aware of any new policies to help Buzzen remain a safe Communications alternative for all ages.

true to form buzzen is embarking down the same road that msn went down. pretty soon will buzzen chatrooms be overrun by pornobots? why is buzzen allowing 16 and 17 year olds to chat here when they are going to be allowing pornobots to park in their chatroooms? did pornographers pay buzzen to lower their age requirements to 16 ? are the pornographers paying buzzen to allow them to park their pornobots on their chat service? why isnt someone investigating buzzen and go daddy as well?

buzzen v2 knocked

Buzzen V2 has FINALLY been released to the public. So I went to check it out this morning.. before I went onto Buzzen V2, I was expecting to see the rooms full and all of the members chatting on V2 and enjoying the new features.

Got into Buzzen V2 homepage, and overall, I thought.. "Hmm This looks familiar".... then I noticed that Buzzen V2 is EXACTLY the same (in design) as V1, only a few things changed and some new icons added. Hmm.. 3 years in the making and they couldn't even make a new website from scratch?

So I went to the Chat section to check that out (Remembering I was expecting the rooms to be full with joyful users), the rooms are dead. There is no one on V2, no one is using it. I found out that everyone prefers the Buzzen.net thing, so I was wondering why these hundreds of users weren't using Buzzen brand new shiny V2. It seems most of Buzzens users cannot login nor register.

LOL They release the next version of their website.... broken.

As I said above, Buzzen V2 is just V1 with some changes, so you can expect the same problems you had in V1, to follow.

You would think that the Managers would be well prepared for the move, making it smooth as possible for the Guides. Apparently not. The staff clients are not working on V2 so V2 is completely staffless. As for Karen, she is too busy playing "I'm Karen, the street worker, get off my patch bitch" to worry about her Guides and find a quick solution about their clients. So all of these poor Guides are having to fix their OWN clients in order to get on V2.

My advice to you is to switch chat homes and find somewhere reliable.

blogging msn chat has learned that the buzzen.com chat service has been recruiting former msn hosts to host on their chat service. this doesnt make any sense. why would a company recruit people who are in part responsible for their same type company going out of business? apparantly this fact hasnt been lost on msn chatters as the following screen grabs show:

we had really high hopes for buzzen.com chat. we thought that they could turn chat around and make it a great experience unlike msn. however with this turn of events look for buzzen to become just another crap chat service. its obvious that buzzen's management is just as clueless, inept and incompetent as msn.

is buzzen promoting prostitution?

we were on buzzen earlier and couldnt help but notice that they have begun taking advertisements from mate1 dating service. now anyone whos web savvy and especially chatters knows that these so called dating websites are nothing more than fronts for prostitution, pornography and webcam whores.

its really a shame because buzzen was given a gift when msn chat closed and they are totally blowing it. someone needs to investigate who and what is behind buzzen.


heres another advertisement for the mate1 dating website that we found on another website - NOT a buzzen website but we have to wonder how long it will be before this ad is displayed on buzzen's homepage.

second buzzen pornobot identified

buzzen.com chat is being invaded by pornobots. will buzzen rise to the challenge and turn back this invasion or will they give in and become known as a chat service that caters to pornspammers? only time will tell. we recommend that what buzzen admin should do is file abuse complaints to the isp's that host the porn spammers. buzzen also needs to more closely monitor their chatters and profiles. c'mon buzzen get your act together!

why in the world would buzzen allow 16 and 17 year olds in the 40s peers chats? yet 20s are for 20+ year olds and 30s are for 30+ year olds. 50s doesnt even have an age limit.
